The ACT test is a standardized admissions test used to rate applicants to undergraduate programs in colleges and universities. Almost all 4 year schools require an ACT or SAT score to be considered for admissions. The ACT is offered 6 times a year, and there are 4 sections: English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. Each section is scored from 1 to 36 and the final Composite Score is an average of these four sections’ scores.
The SAT test is a standardized admissions test used to rate applicants to undergraduate programs in colleges and universities. Almost all 4 year school requires an SAT score or an ACT to be considered for admissions. Whereas most students are studying towards a provincial or school exam, we have tutors who are experienced tutoring for entrance exams, including the SAT Reasoning Test, the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), and numerous other specialized and prerequisite courses.
The ASVAB has 10 tests. Scores from four of the tests – Word Knowledge (WK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), and Mathematics Knowledge (MK) – are combined to compute the score on what is referred to as the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT). Scores on the AFQT are used to determine eligibility for enlistment in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps. Scores on all of the ASVAB tests are used to determine the best job for you in the military.
Computerized, standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States, in other English-speaking countries and for English-taught graduate and business programs world-wide. It consists of a quantitative section, a verbal section and an analytical writing section.
The GED® test is a four-subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers. The four subjects are Science, Social Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, and Reasoning through Language Arts. After you pass the GED® test, your diploma or credential will be issued by your state but you’ll receive a GED® transcript to apply to college, start training, or get a better job.
Tutor Doctor provides test prep tutoring for the advanced placement (AP) exams. Students can select from 37 college-level courses that cover the 5 general academic areas of math, science, history, English, and languages. Most AP Exams are two to three hours long and each test covers the content of that subject area.
